Axel's take: 8.6/10

Spacious rooms and warm service make a strong base, but nearby construction matters. a modern 4-star business hotel in a high-rise, scored for what it is.

Park Regis Business Bay is a modern 4-star business hotel that delivers well on space, comfort and helpful service. We'd pick it for a work trip or sightseeing stay where room quality matters more than resort atmosphere. Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the friendly staff and clean, generous rooms; selected categories add Burj Khalifa or canal views. An outdoor pool, gym and spa round out a solid city-hotel package.

The main catch is neighboring construction: Expedia still flags it, and guests describe noise, dust and awkward walking routes. The metro is roughly 15 minutes away on foot, rather than on the doorstep. Breakfast gets mixed feedback on variety, and the pool is more useful for a dip than a pool-centered holiday. We'd skip it for guaranteed quiet or a beach-resort stay.

• Best for: Business Bay work trips; sightseers prioritizing room space; couples wanting skyline views

• Watch out for: Neighboring construction noise and dust; Roughly 15-minute walk to the metro; Alcohol-free property

• Location: Useful Business Bay base near Bay Avenue; construction can complicate walks toward the metro and canal.

• Rooms: Standard rooms are 30 square meters; book the specific Burj Khalifa or canal-view category you want.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across sites, with occasional housekeeping lapses rather than a dominant problem.

• Service: Friendly reception and housekeeping teams are recurring highlights; restaurant service is less consistently praised.

• Amenities: Temperature-controlled outdoor pool, gym, spa and restaurant; pool size and breakfast variety draw mixed reactions.

• Fees and surprises: Free self-parking; tourism tax and a deposit are listed, with breakfast and airport transfers potentially extra.
