#5 of 5 hotels in Bur Dubai by Axel's take. Bur Dubai is #3 of 10 places to stay in Dubai. The best hotels in Bur Dubai, ranked · Where to stay in Dubai

Axel's take: 8.0/10

Spacious rooms and helpful staff make a strong base, but roadworks compromise the quiet. a value-focused 4-star city hotel at Satwa Roundabout, scored for what it is.

Luxe Avenue is a value-focused 4-star city hotel at Satwa Roundabout, formerly Chelsea Plaza. We'd shortlist it for generous room sizes, an outdoor pool and access to both older Dubai and the World Trade Centre area. Recent Agoda, Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. It's a practical city base rather than a luxury retreat, with shops and restaurants nearby.

The biggest reservation is nearby road construction: August and September 2026 guests report disruptive noise, including overnight disturbance, and management acknowledges ongoing works. Ask about the current situation before committing. The nearest metro is roughly 1.7 kilometres away, so don't expect doorstep rail access. Parking arrangements also vary across listings. We'd skip it for a quiet-first holiday; it makes more sense for value-minded travelers comfortable using buses or taxis.

  • Best for: value-minded city explorers; World Trade Centre visitors; travelers wanting spacious rooms

  • Watch out for: nearby roadworks, including reported overnight noise; metro roughly 1.7 kilometres away; confirm parking arrangements and charges

  • Location: Satwa shops and restaurants nearby; convenient city positioning, but not directly beside the metro.

  • Rooms: Generous layouts starting around 36 square metres; recent guests generally praise comfort.

  • Cleanliness: Clean rooms and attentive housekeeping are consistent strengths in recent reviews.

  • Service: Warm, helpful staff dominate feedback, though occasional check-in and complaint-handling issues appear.

  • Amenities: Outdoor pool, gym, all-day restaurant, bar and free Wi-Fi; breakfast inclusion depends on booking.

  • Fees and surprises: Roadworks remain a concern; listings flag a deposit, tourism levy and parking charges.
