Axel's take: 5.8/10

Useful for Deira on a tight budget, but cleanliness is too inconsistent. a basic 2-star budget hotel in Deira, scored for what it is.

Click Square is a basic 2-star in Deira, formerly Grand Square Hotel, with a practical location within walking distance of Baniyas Square metro. We'd consider it only for a short, budget-first stay. Recent Agoda guests praise courteous reception staff and sometimes describe clean, comfortable rooms, but the experience is clearly uneven.

The bigger concern is getting the basics reliably right. Trip.com and MakeMyTrip guests repeatedly report dirty or worn bathrooms, inconsistent housekeeping and faulty fittings; cockroach complaints also recur across booking sites. Some 2026 reviews remain positive, so this is not uniformly bad, but the problems go beyond missing extras at a simple hotel. We'd skip it for a family holiday or if dependable cleanliness matters more than keeping costs down. Don't assume parking is available.

  • Best for: budget-first solo travelers; short stays focused on Deira

  • Watch out for: recurring bathroom and housekeeping complaints; reported cockroaches and maintenance faults; no dependable on-site parking

  • Location: Older Deira setting, roughly a ten-minute walk from Baniyas Square metro according to guests.

  • Rooms: Basic accommodation; guests report uneven condition, including worn bathtubs and malfunctioning equipment.

  • Cleanliness: Some recent guests praise clean rooms, but bathroom, linen and pest complaints recur across sites.

  • Service: Reception earns warm praise on Agoda, while other guests describe unhelpful responses and missed housekeeping.

  • Amenities: The official site lists free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and airport-transfer arrangements.

  • Fees and surprises: Guests dispute parking advertised by booking platforms; confirm parking and any transfer or early-check-in charges directly.
