Axel's take: 8.3/10

A dependable budget base with helpful staff, free breakfast and practical transport links. a no-frills 3-star near Business Bay, scored for what it is.

This no-frills 3-star near Business Bay is a strong pick for travelers who want a practical Dubai base rather than a resort. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, while Booking.com’s ratings back up the positive picture on cleanliness and comfort. Rooms are straightforward, not stylish, but included breakfast, free parking and Wi-Fi make this good value for its class.

The trade-off is convenience rather than doorstep sightseeing: Business Bay metro is roughly a 10–15-minute walk, and you’ll still use transport for major attractions. IHG advertises scheduled free shuttles to Dubai Mall and Kite Beach; check the timetable rather than assuming an on-demand service. There’s a gym but no pool. We’d skip it for a pool-centered holiday or if you want a polished hotel experience.

• Best for: budget-conscious city explorers; short business trips; travelers with a car

• Watch out for: no swimming pool; 10–15-minute walk to the metro; destination shuttles run on a schedule

• Location: Useful for Business Bay and canal access; major sights still require transport.

• Rooms: Simple, functional rooms; smoking and nonsmoking categories make room selection important.

• Cleanliness: Generally a strength, supported by positive guest feedback across several sites.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent highlight in recent reviews.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, Wi-Fi, free parking, a gym and two restaurants; no pool.

• Fees and surprises: City tourism tax is collected at the property; airport transfers cost extra, unlike scheduled destination shuttles.
