Axel's take on Indian Point & Silver Dollar City: #6 of 6 in Branson, 5.6/10
The strongest choice for Silver Dollar City and lake days. Indian Point offers good accommodation and a wooded lake setting, but limited doorstep options, weaker value and less flexible access leave it sixth.
Indian Point Road leads from the Silver Dollar City approach into a wooded Table Rock Lake peninsula dotted with cabins, condos and marinas. This is the strongest choice when your holiday alternates between the theme park and time on the water. The appeal is returning to a lakeside setting, not having Branson's shopping streets outside.
The shared approach is also its weakness: theme-park traffic can complicate trips off the peninsula. Do not assume a nearby rental is walkable to the park, or that a shuttle is included. Skip it if most evenings will be spent at Strip theaters or the Landing; those outings need deliberate driving.
- Best for: families, a quiet stay
- Skip it if: You plan to visit the Landing or Strip most evenings; You need dependable public transportation
- Getting around: Drive Indian Point Road and the park approach; confirm any property-specific shuttle rather than assuming one. No useful citywide bus or rail; rent a car or prebook a transfer from SGF or XNA.
- After dark: Mostly rental-and-lake evenings, although seasonal lakeside bars and live music mean it is not uniformly silent.
- Rates: Typical Axel rate $144 a night

How to choose
- Choose Calm Waters Cabin Resort if you want welcoming owners, paddlecraft and easy water access rather than full hotel service.
- Choose The Village At Indian Point Resort if separate bedrooms, in-unit laundry and year-round indoor swimming justify a pricier condo stay.
- Choose White Wing Lodge if Silver Dollar City is the priority and you want a cheaper stay with a park shuttle.
What paying more buys
Cheaper White Wing Lodge covers park proximity and a shuttle, with self-service and uneven room condition. Calm Waters Cabin Resort buys welcoming hosts and easy water access; pricier The Village At Indian Point adds spacious condos, laundry and year-round indoor swimming. The Bradford is pricier still for hilltop views and individual character, not lake-resort facilities—poor value if park access is all you need. Typical rates with Axel here run from $69 a night at White Wing Lodge to $427 at The Bradford (last 30 days).
