Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong practical pick, with useful kitchenettes and breakfast that stands out. a modern 3-star extended-stay hotel in Denver’s Golden Triangle, scored for what it is.

Element is a modern 3-star extended-stay hotel in the Golden Triangle, and a strong pick for travelers who want practical comfort rather than full-service extras. Recent Expedia, Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. Kitchenettes make longer visits easier, while the included breakfast—especially the made-to-order eggs—earns unusually enthusiastic feedback for this class. The Denver Art Museum and convention center are within walking distance.

The main catch is paid parking, which chips away at the value if you bring a car. There’s no pool or full-service restaurant, and some guests report noise, although many describe quiet stays. Light sleepers should request a room away from the garage. We’d choose it for work trips, museum visits and longer stays; skip it if resort-style facilities matter more than useful everyday comforts.

• Best for: longer stays with kitchenette convenience; convention attendees; museum-focused city breaks

• Watch out for: paid on-site parking; no pool or full-service restaurant; occasional noise complaints

• Location: Walkable to the Denver Art Museum and convention center; not beside Union Station.

• Rooms: Modern, practical rooms with kitchenettes; guests frequently praise comfortable beds.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent guest feedback, including Expedia’s strong cleanliness rating.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk staff receive repeated praise across several sites.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, gym, bar and outdoor terrace; no pool or full-service restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: On-site parking and dogs incur additional charges; Marriott lists no airport shuttle.
