Axel's take: 7.0/10

A practical budget base with helpful staff, but rooms show their age. a no-frills 2-star motel near Dallas Market Center, scored for what it is.

This is a no-frills 2-star motel with exterior-entry rooms, best treated as a practical base rather than somewhere to linger. We'd consider it for a short, budget-minded Market Center trip: free parking, nearby restaurants and straightforward access to central Dallas are useful strengths. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise accommodating staff, and many describe clean, comfortable rooms.

The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Reports across both sites mention worn furnishings, tired bathrooms and occasional maintenance problems; outside noise can also carry into rooms. Cleanliness earns plenty of praise but isn't uniformly reliable. Don't choose it for breakfast: recent accounts describe limited offerings, while Wyndham currently promises only free morning coffee. It's reasonable for travelers who prioritize location and value; we'd skip it for a polished room or dependable quiet.

• Best for: budget-minded Market Center visitors; short stays with a car

• Watch out for: dated rooms and uneven maintenance; occasional outside noise; limited breakfast expectations

• Location: Convenient for Dallas Market Center and nearby dining; central Dallas is a short drive away.

• Rooms: Exterior-entry motel rooms; comfort is often praised, but wear and maintenance issues recur.

• Cleanliness: Many recent guests report clean rooms, though feedback is not consistently positive.

• Service: Helpful, accommodating front-desk staff are a recurring strength across Expedia and Tripadvisor.

• Amenities: Wyndham confirms free WiFi, parking, morning coffee, a sundeck and a 24-hour front desk.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; early check-in or late checkout may cost extra, and a substantial breakfast isn't assured.
