Hotel Chat Noir Cuenca is a simple 3-star in the historic center, best considered for sightseeing rather than hotel comforts. Calderón Park and the cathedral are nearby, and breakfast and Wi-Fi are included. Recent Expedia guests praise courteous staff, useful tour advice and clean rooms; its generally positive booking-site ratings make it a reasonable, rather than standout, choice for its class.

The caveat is uneven execution. One 2026 guest reported missed housekeeping, while a family wanted more towels and better pillows.
