Watch out for: not directly on the beach; occasional room-maintenance and service lapses; resort fee and paid valet parking
Location: Residential Palm Beach island setting, a short walk from Worth Avenue and the ocean.
Rooms: Traditional interiors and generally comfortable rooms; some guests find them dark or dated.
Cleanliness: A clear strength overall, supported by strong guest cleanliness ratings.
Service: Usually warm and attentive, though recent reviews include some problem-handling and dining-service lapses.
Amenities: Small outdoor pool, Café Boulud, salon, fitness facilities, bicycles and beach transportation.
Fees and surprises: Booking sites list a mandatory resort fee, charged valet parking and breakfast at an additional cost.
