Axel's take: 8.9/10
A strong west-side base with spotless rooms, welcoming staff and free parking. A modern, upper-midrange Marriott business hotel in suburban Beaverton, scored for what it is.
AC Hotel Portland Beaverton is a modern, upper-midrange Marriott hotel that gets the essentials right. We'd pick it for Beaverton business trips or a comfortable suburban stopover, rather than a downtown Portland getaway. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, well-kept rooms, comfortable beds and genuinely helpful staff; Booking.com's strong cleanliness and service scores reinforce that picture. Free parking, an indoor pool, a gym and an evening lounge make it a practical all-rounder.
The main compromise is the location: convenient for Nike, Intel and Highway 26, but less suited to exploring Portland on foot. Breakfast costs extra, and recent Expedia guests are divided on its variety and value. We'd skip it if a walkable city neighborhood or an included breakfast matters more than modern rooms and easy parking.
