Marriott Dallas Uptown is a modern, upscale full-service hotel, rather than a basic three-star. We'd pick it for its walkable restaurant scene, proximity to the Katy Trail and comfortable, contemporary rooms. Expedia guests strongly praise cleanliness and helpful staff; Tripadvisor is more mixed, though room comfort and location still stand out. The rooftop pool, gym and Good Graces restaurant make it a practical choice for work trips or a Dallas weekend.
The trade-offs are paid valet parking, breakfast that generally costs extra and uneven follow-through. Several Tripadvisor guests describe missed or late housekeeping, despite the much stronger cleanliness picture on Expedia.
