Hilton Budapest is a five-star chain hotel whose strongest luxury is its setting beside Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. It’s a strong pick for comfortable sightseeing rather than nightlife: recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and an extensive breakfast. Book a Danube-view room if the Parliament panorama is central to your plans; not every room gets it.

The trade-off is staying uphill on the quieter Buda side, away from Pest’s busiest restaurant and bar districts.
