#5 of 9 hotels in Avenue Louise by Axel's take. Avenue Louise is #4 of 9 places to stay in Brussels. The best hotels in Avenue Louise, ranked · Where to stay in Brussels

Axel's take: 8.3/10

Stylish rooms and welcoming staff make a strong pick, but wellness access costs extra. a small, independent 4-star boutique hotel near Avenue Louise, scored for what it is.

Harmon House is a 27-room, independent 4-star boutique hotel in Saint-Gilles, near Avenue Louise. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prefer contemporary design and a personable atmosphere to a large business hotel. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the helpful staff, cleanliness and comfortable rooms; Tripadvisor feedback also highlights the atmospheric bar and breakfast. We’d choose it for a Brussels break with neighborhood restaurants and shopping close by.

The main catch is that the pool, spa and gym cost extra, rather than coming automatically with your room. Breakfast is also separate. Two Expedia guests reported air-conditioning failures in June 2026, so summer visitors should confirm it is working. We’d skip it if included wellness facilities or a location right in the historic center are priorities.

Best for: couples on a city break; travelers who prefer small design hotels; Avenue Louise shopping and dining
Watch out for: Pool, spa and gym access costs extra; Breakfast charged separately; Air-conditioning failures reported in June 2026
Location: Saint-Gilles, close to Avenue Louise, restaurants and public transport rather than right by Grand Place.
Rooms: Contemporary rooms with coffee machines; some have terraces, but recent cooling failures warrant checking.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and Expedia guest feedback.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff are among the most consistently praised features.
Amenities: Bar, indoor pool, sauna, steam room, treatments and gym; guests generally like the wellness facilities.
Fees and surprises: Wellness and gym access are additional charges; buffet breakfast is not included in the standard room rate.
