One Dalton is a modern five-star luxury hotel in Back Bay, and we'd choose it for polished service, comfortable rooms and substantial wellness facilities. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, meticulous housekeeping and quiet sleep; Booking.com also scores cleanliness and comfort particularly highly. Floor-to-ceiling windows, an indoor lap pool, spa and well-equipped gym give you good reasons to spend time here, not just sleep.

The trade-off is atmosphere and location: this is contemporary tower luxury, not a historic hotel overlooking the Public Garden. It's convenient for Prudential Center shopping, but less compelling if your priority is doorstep access to old Boston. Breakfast and valet parking cost extra.
