Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong Midtown base with roomy studios, welcoming staff and costly parking. a modern 3-star extended-stay hotel across from the Fox Theatre, scored for what it is.

Element is a modern 3-star extended-stay hotel across from the Fox Theatre, and it's a strong pick for theater nights or a longer Atlanta visit. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms and genuinely helpful staff, particularly the breakfast team. Studios with kitchens, included breakfast and nearby MARTA make it a practical alternative to a standard city hotel.

The biggest catch is parking: guests consistently find it expensive, and the garage can get busy during Fox events. Marriott lists housekeeping only twice weekly, so don't expect daily servicing. Breakfast earns plenty of praise, though some guests find the selection limited; occasional maintenance and follow-through complaints also temper the otherwise positive picture. We'd skip it if a pool or daily housekeeping is essential.

• Best for: Fox Theatre audiences; Longer stays in a kitchen-equipped studio; Georgia Tech and Emory Midtown visitors

• Watch out for: Expensive parking and event-time garage traffic; Housekeeping twice weekly; No swimming pool

• Location: Across from the Fox Theatre, near North Avenue MARTA and convenient for Georgia Tech.

• Rooms: Spacious, modern rooms; book a kitchen-equipped studio if cooking facilities matter.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest feedback, with occasional housekeeping lapses rather than a dominant cleanliness problem.

• Service: Friendly staff are a recurring highlight, although problem handling is not uniformly reliable.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, fitness center, restaurant and guest laundry; no pool.

• Fees and surprises: Third-party parking and pet fees apply; ask reception about garage in-and-out privileges.
