Spacious suites and warm staff make this a strong pick, despite uneven service. a modern five-star suite resort across the road from Eagle Beach, scored for what it is.

JOIA Aruba is a modern five-star suite resort across the road from Eagle Beach, and a strong pick for couples prioritizing space, cleanliness and pool time. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the immaculate surroundings and welcoming staff; Booking.com also scores comfort and cleanliness particularly highly. Standard suites are generously sized, with balcony whirlpools, while the adults-only infinity pool adds appeal for a quieter escape.

The qualification is consistency: some guests still report slow restaurant, pool and beach service—noticeable at this level. Beach-chair reservations need planning, and all-inclusive is an option, not the default. The casino remains advertised as coming soon; a September 2026 Reddit report also describes spa renovation work, so confirm current access before booking a spa-focused trip. We'd choose it for relaxed beach days, not effortless five-star service or lively nightlife.

• Best for: couples seeking spacious suites; relaxed beach-and-pool breaks; travelers who want flexible meal plans

• Watch out for: occasionally slow food and drink service; beach-chair reservations; casino unopened; confirm spa access

• Location: Eagle Beach is across the road, rather than directly outside the resort grounds.

• Rooms: Standard suites measure about 592 square feet and include balconies with whirlpools.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia feedback.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn strong praise, but food and drink service can lag.

• Amenities: Multiple pools, an adults-only infinity pool, gym and restaurants; confirm spa availability.

• Fees and surprises: Check meal-plan inclusions; room service and minibars can cost extra, and the casino is not yet open.
