Axel's take: 8.5/10

A strong beachfront choice with refreshed rooms, friendly service and some competition for shade. An upscale beachfront resort and casino on Palm Beach, scored for what it is.

This upscale beachfront resort and casino is a strong pick for travelers who want comfortable rooms and plenty to do without leaving the property. Marriott advertises newly renovated accommodations, and recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms, cleanliness and friendly staff. Direct Palm Beach access, varied restaurants and a family pool with a swim-up bar make it particularly easy for mixed-age groups.

The trade-offs are resort bustle, expensive dining and competition for shaded loungers and beach palapas. A daily resort fee also deserves attention; this is not an all-inclusive stay. The H2Oasis adults-only pool underwent renovations scheduled through October 7, 2026, but reopening remains unverified, so confirm before booking specifically for it. We'd skip this if quiet seclusion or effortless access to shade matters more than facilities.

• Best for: Families wanting a full-service beach resort; Couples who enjoy dining and casino entertainment; Travelers prioritizing spacious, refreshed rooms

• Watch out for: Competition for shaded loungers and palapas; Daily resort fee and expensive dining; Confirm H2Oasis pool reopening after renovations

• Location: Directly on Palm Beach, with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

• Rooms: Renovated, spacious accommodations with private balconies; room position affects views and noise.

• Cleanliness: Strong praise across recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews, particularly for guest rooms.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff are a consistent strength across guest-review sites.

• Amenities: Family pool, advertised adults-only pool, casino, spa, gym and multiple restaurants; confirm adults-only pool availability.

• Fees and surprises: Daily resort fee applies; meals generally cost extra, while on-site parking is complimentary.
