#6 of 6 hotels in Sabarmati Ashram & Subhash Bridge by Axel's take. Sabarmati Ashram & Subhash Bridge is #5 of 9 places to stay in Ahmedabad. The best hotels in Sabarmati Ashram & Subhash Bridge, ranked · Where to stay in Ahmedabad

Axel's take: 6.3/10

Convenient for a short stop, but room upkeep is too inconsistent for an easy recommendation. a basic budget hotel on the second floor near RTO Circle, scored for what it is.

Hotel Avadh Palace is a basic budget hotel on the second floor of Tirth Jyoti Plaza, near RTO Circle and Sabarmati Ashram. Its location is the strongest reason to book; Google guests and Booking.com ratings also give the staff credit. We'd consider it for a brief, location-led stay, but not as a dependable all-round budget pick.

Recent feedback is sharply mixed. MakeMyTrip guests praise helpful service, food and some clean rooms, but repeatedly mention cramped spaces, plumbing faults and unreliable amenities. Partner reviews displayed by Planet of Hotels add reports of poor ventilation, unpleasant smells and pests, including cockroaches in April 2026. Those are meaningful concerns even at this level. We'd skip it if consistent cleanliness or spacious rooms matter most. Confirm lift access directly: listings disagree, and a June 2026 guest reported a lift fault.

Best for: short stays near RTO Circle; budget travelers prioritizing location
Watch out for: inconsistent cleanliness and pest reports; small rooms and bathroom maintenance; uncertain lift availability
Location: Near Sabarmati Ashram and Subhash Bridge; location scores better than the rooms.
Rooms: Basic accommodation; recent guests repeatedly describe small rooms, with some ventilation and maintenance complaints.
Cleanliness: Some guests report clean rooms, but recent hygiene, odor and pest complaints warrant caution.
Service: Helpful staff and food receive praise, though problem handling is not consistently reliable.
Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, free parking and room service are listed; confirm air-conditioning in the room booked.
Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusion, checkout time and lift access; platform information is inconsistent.
