This older five-star beachfront resort is a strong pick for travelers who put direct beach access and generous rooms ahead of contemporary interiors. The pool, tropical grounds and swim-up bar give it proper resort appeal. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and family-friendly stays; Tripadvisor feedback also highlights spacious rooms and the breakfast buffet.

The catch is consistency: dated bathrooms, worn furnishings and maintenance complaints recur across sites, while restaurant service sometimes runs slowly.
