This mid-range Marriott is a strong pick for exploring Chattanooga on foot, with the Tennessee Aquarium, riverfront and restaurants close by. A renovation announced complete in May 2026 refreshed all rooms, public spaces and the gym. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness and welcoming staff; we'd choose it for a practical family weekend rather than a luxury escape.
