Holiday Inn Key Largo is a casual 3-star marina-side hotel whose outdoor spaces outshine its rooms. We'd pick it for a dive trip or relaxed family break: two outdoor pools, a hot tub and a tiki bar give it more holiday appeal than a basic roadside stop. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the grounds, comfortable beds and convenient access to boat trips and nearby restaurants. Overall, it's a good base rather than a destination resort.

The rooms are the compromise. Many recent guests find them clean and comfortable, but dated bathrooms, noisy air-conditioning and uneven upkeep recur in reviews.
