Archer is an upscale 4-star hotel for travelers who want Napa’s restaurants and tasting rooms outside the door rather than a secluded vineyard setting. We’d pick it for its comfortable rooms and walkable location: recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, welcoming staff and well-appointed accommodation. The rooftop bar adds appeal, although the shallow water deck is for lounging, not swimming.

The big caveat is scheduled renovation from November 2, 2026, through spring 2027.
