Aristella is a family-run 4-star in central Zermatt, and we'd put it high on the shortlist for a comfortable mountain base with personal service. Booking.com, Expedia and Trip.com guests consistently praise the helpful staff, cleanliness and breakfast. The station is roughly ten minutes away on foot, while the sauna, steam bath and whirlpools add welcome comfort after hiking or skiing. Book a Panorama or Deluxe room if a Matterhorn-facing balcony matters.
