Axel's take: 8.2/10

A strong family pick for space and pools, with uneven rooms and package caveats. a mid-range, condo-style golf resort across from Druif Beach, scored for what it is.

Divi Village is a mid-range, condo-style resort rather than a beachfront hotel, and it’s a strong pick for families wanting room to spread out. Spacious suites with full kitchens, four pools, a waterslide and a nine-hole golf course give it substance beyond the beach. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the grounds, roomy accommodation and friendly staff. We’d choose it for a relaxed, self-catering stay rather than polished luxury.

The trade-offs are room consistency and the sprawling layout. Recent guests report both renovated suites and older rooms with maintenance or musty-smell complaints; housekeeping and restaurant service can also be uneven. Druif Beach is across the road, with free golf-cart shuttles helping cover the grounds. Check your package carefully: Signature and MEGA all-inclusive have different resort access, and the Beach Bar is excluded. Skip it if direct beachfront access or consistently updated rooms matter most.

• Best for: families wanting kitchens and pools; golfers; longer self-catering stays

• Watch out for: room condition varies; beach across the road; all-inclusive exclusions and access tiers

• Location: Across from Druif Beach; the extensive grounds are served by complimentary golf-cart shuttles.

• Rooms: Spacious suites and villas with kitchens and outdoor space; recent reviews show uneven condition.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest ratings, tempered by some housekeeping and musty-room complaints.

• Service: Friendly staff earn frequent praise, though restaurant waits and maintenance follow-through draw criticism.

• Amenities: Four pools, waterslide and nine-hole golf; the gym is across the road and the spa is off-site.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and Wi-Fi are free; verify all-inclusive exclusions and note the early 10 a.m. checkout.
