Axel's take: 7.6/10

A practical airport base with comfortable rooms, but service and maintenance can be uneven. a full-service, upper-midrange airport hotel, scored for what it is.

Nashville Airport Marriott is a full-service, upper-midrange airport hotel best suited to flight connections and business trips. We'd choose it for the complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle, substantial gym and convenient restaurant and bar. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. It's a sensible airport base rather than somewhere to experience Nashville on foot.

Consistency is the catch: Marriott's own guest feedback is considerably less enthusiastic, with recurring maintenance problems and uneven follow-through; Tripadvisor reviews surfaced through Skyscanner echo some concerns. Parking and breakfast generally cost extra, and recent Hotels.com feedback confirms there's no pool. Skyscanner also lists elevator renovation from October 8 to December 1, 2026, so confirm elevator availability during that period. We'd skip it for a walkable Broadway weekend or if swimming and reliably polished service are priorities.

• Best for: airport overnights; business and conference travelers; travelers who prioritize a good gym

• Watch out for: Elevator renovation listed through December 1, 2026; Uneven maintenance and problem resolution; Paid parking and breakfast; no pool

• Location: Convenient for BNA with a free 24-hour shuttle; downtown sightseeing requires transportation.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and generous space draw praise; some guests report noisy air-conditioning and plumbing faults.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall on Expedia, though Marriott and Tripadvisor feedback includes housekeeping lapses.

• Service: Many guests praise friendly staff, but resolving room problems is less consistent.

• Amenities: Renovated fitness center, restaurant, bar and grab-and-go coffee; no pool according to recent guest feedback.

• Fees and surprises: Parking, breakfast and pets carry charges; confirm elevator access during the listed autumn 2026 renovation.
