Come for the sunsets and waterfront activities, not uniformly polished rooms. A relaxed, full-service 4-star bayfront resort and marina, scored for what it is.

Reefhouse is a relaxed 4-star bayfront resort whose strongest selling point is the waterfront setup: a generous pool, small private beach, marina and on-site snorkeling and diving trips. We'd pick it for an easygoing Keys vacation rather than a luxury escape. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean rooms and sunset views; having restaurants and bars on the grounds makes staying put appealing.

The catch is uneven upkeep. Several recent guests describe dated bathrooms and tired areas, even alongside praise for refreshed rooms.
