Piñon Pointe is a mid-range timeshare resort, not a full-service Hyatt hotel. We'd choose it for a longer Sedona stay, especially in a one-bedroom villa with a full kitchen rather than a studio with a kitchenette. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the walkable location, red-rock views, comfortable accommodation and helpful staff. Cleanliness ratings are strong overall, although room condition is less consistent.

The catches are stairs and long walks around the hillside grounds, sound carrying between connecting rooms, a daily resort fee and invitations to timeshare presentations.
