Axel's take: 8.1/10

A practical Midtown base with useful kitchens, but dated rooms and unreliable elevators. a no-frills, all-suite extended-stay hotel in Midtown Manhattan, scored for what it is.

This is a no-frills, all-suite extended-stay hotel, and we'd pick it for practicality rather than polish. Kitchens and free guest laundry make longer visits easier, while the location puts Broadway, Penn Station and subway connections within walking distance. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds; Booking.com's overall rating also points to a solid stay.

The trade-offs are dated interiors, weekly rather than daily full housekeeping, and recurring elevator outages and waits, including reports from autumn 2026. Check elevator status directly if stairs would be difficult. Booking.com also lists a nightly resort fee and refundable damage deposit. It's a strong pick for self-catering travelers; we'd skip it if you want contemporary design or full-service attention.

• Best for: longer-stay travelers who cook; Broadway and Midtown sightseeing; travelers who value free laundry

• Watch out for: recurring elevator outages and waits; dated interiors and weekly housekeeping; nightly resort fee

• Location: Convenient for Times Square, Broadway, Penn Station and Port Authority subway connections.

• Rooms: Functional suites with kitchens and comfortable beds; recent guests still describe dated interiors.

• Cleanliness: Generally strong recent feedback across Expedia, Tripadvisor and Booking.com.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a consistent strength; full housekeeping is weekly.

• Amenities: Full kitchens, complimentary guest laundry, Wi-Fi, a fitness center and a convenience market.

• Fees and surprises: Booking.com lists a resort fee and refundable damage deposit; parking and pets cost extra.
