#8 of 9 hotels in Palm Beach by Axel's take. Palm Beach is #1 of 5 places to stay in Aruba. The best hotels in Palm Beach, ranked · Where to stay in Aruba

Axel's take: 8.1/10

A refreshed Palm Beach all-inclusive, stronger on beach convenience than quiet luxury. a large, family-friendly beachfront all-inclusive advertised as five-star, scored for what it is.

This large, family-friendly all-inclusive on Palm Beach is a strong pick for an easy, activity-filled beach holiday—not a hushed five-star retreat. RIU says it reopened on July 31, 2026, after a comprehensive renovation, and recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests back up the improvement with praise for modern rooms, cleanliness and friendly staff. The beachfront setting, walkable shops and restaurants, and generous buffet are its strongest selling points.

The trade-offs are familiar big-resort ones: competition for shaded loungers, lively pool entertainment and specialty dining that draws less consistent praise than the buffet. Some recent guests still report frustrating restaurant waits. Elite Club also separates out certain premium facilities and services, so check your room category carefully. We'd choose it for families and sociable couples who want convenience; we'd skip it for guaranteed tranquility or consistently refined dining.

  • Best for: families wanting all-inclusive convenience; couples who enjoy lively resorts; beachgoers who value a walkable location

  • Watch out for: competition for shaded loungers; pool music and activity noise; uneven specialty dining and waits

  • Location: Directly on Palm Beach, within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants.

  • Rooms: Renovated in 2026; recent guests praise modern interiors, comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

  • Cleanliness: Recent post-renovation reviews are strongly positive about room and public-area cleanliness.

  • Service: Friendly staff earn repeated praise, though restaurant pacing and reception are less consistent.

  • Amenities: Pools, a swim-up bar, multiple dining venues and RIU Land kids' club support an active family holiday.

  • Fees and surprises: Elite Club is a separate adults-only premium category with exclusive dining and beachfront areas.
