Crowne Plaza Sofia is a renovated 5-star business hotel beside Business Park Sofia, and a strong pick if comfort matters more than a central address. The former Holiday Inn reopened under its current brand in August 2024 after a major overhaul. Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Hotels.com guests broadly agree on the strengths: clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and appealing wellness facilities. The indoor pool, sauna and steam room give it substance beyond its business-hotel brief, while complimentary parking makes arriving by car straightforward.

The main compromise is location. A nearby metro station connects you with central Sofia, but you cannot step outside into the historic sights or main restaurant districts.
