Mía Reef is a family-friendly 4-star all-inclusive whose biggest asset is its private-islet setting beside Playa Norte, on Isla Mujeres rather than mainland Cancún. We'd pick it for days in shallow, calm water and easy access to town across the bridge. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the beach and attentive staff; those strengths make it a good choice if swimming matters more than sophisticated surroundings.

The hotel itself is less convincing than the setting. Dated rooms and uneven maintenance recur across reviews, while buffet variety divides opinion, especially on longer stays.
