W Koh Samui is a five-star beachfront villa resort that makes a strong case for a stay centered on your own pool. All 74 villas have one, and Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the generous space, attentive staff and excellent breakfasts. Cleanliness scores are strong across platforms. We'd pick it for a couples' escape with good dining and sunset drinks, rather than easy access to town.
