AMC Granada is a simple 1-star hostal, not a dorm-style hostel, and we'd pick it for a short sightseeing break. Its position beside Plaza Nueva puts restaurants, the cathedral and the uphill route to the Alhambra within easy reach. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise helpful staff and cleanliness; recent reviews support that picture. Private bathrooms, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi cover the essentials well for this class.

The compromises are space and privacy: several rooms are compact, and some have a sink in the bedroom with separately enclosed shower and toilet. Street-facing rooms can pick up noise despite advertised soundproofing. Breakfast is served at a nearby sister hotel, which also handles late arrivals.
