Hotel Boulderado is a historic 4-star that earns its place through character and location rather than sleek modern luxury. One block from Pearl Street, it makes downtown dining and shopping easy without a car. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. With Spruce Farm & Fish, the Corner Bar and basement venue License No. 1, there are good reasons to spend an evening here, too.

The trade-off is uneven freshness: some guests find furnishings and fixtures tired, even while enjoying their stay. Valet parking and breakfast cost extra. More importantly, October 2026 reporting describes an ongoing labor dispute and picketing. A Graduate by Hilton conversion has also been announced, but the renovation's current status is unclear; confirm work and facility access before booking. We'd skip it if contemporary polish or freedom from potential disruption matters most.
