7.6/10
A good outdoor base with family-friendly pools, but choose your unit carefully.
Seventh Mountain is a mid-range condo and timeshare resort, not a conventional full-service hotel. It’s a strong pick for families who want forest surroundings, access to Mount Bachelor and plenty to do between outings. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests praise comfortable accommodations and the setting; pools, hot tubs, walking trails and recreation facilities are the main draw. A kitchen-equipped condo makes longer stays practical.
The catch is consistency: accommodation types and furnishings vary, and guest reports still describe some tired interiors alongside fresher units. Check the exact room description rather than assuming every booking includes a spacious condo. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests also flag unwelcome timeshare sales pressure. There are no elevators, and WorldMark warns of stairs to all suites. We’d skip it for polished hotel service, step-free access or walkable downtown nightlife.

Best for: families who enjoy pools and outdoor activities; skiers and hikers with a car; longer stays in kitchen-equipped condos
Watch out for: variable unit condition and layouts; timeshare sales pressure; stairs and no elevators
Location: Forest setting outside central Bend; better for outdoor access than downtown walkability.
Rooms: Standard rooms, studios and larger condos differ substantially; confirm kitchens, beds and recent photos.
Cleanliness: Generally positive recent feedback, though upkeep is less consistent than the setting and amenities.
Service: Recent guests praise helpful staff, but sales approaches can undermine the welcome.
Amenities: Year-round main pool and hot tubs, plus a gym, sauna, mini-golf, courts and walking trails.
Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free parking and a damage deposit; booking-channel policies can differ.
