A practical MSU base with friendly staff, roomy accommodations and some uneven upkeep. A straightforward limited-service hotel off I-96, a short drive from MSU, scored for what it is.

This is a straightforward, limited-service Hampton in suburban Okemos, and we'd put it on the shortlist for an MSU visit with a car. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms and helpful staff; Tripadvisor's overall feedback is also strong. Free hot breakfast, parking and Wi-Fi make it a practical package, while the indoor pool, hot tub and gym give families and overnight travelers useful extras.
