MONday Apart UENO-SHIN-OKACHIMACHI is an apartment hotel, not a conventional four-star with restaurant service. Its strongest argument is practical: 34–42-square-meter rooms, equipped kitchens, dining tables and washer-dryers make family stays considerably easier. Sleeping arrangements mix regular beds with bunks, sofa beds or futons, so the extra capacity does not mean separate bedrooms.
Expedia, Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the space, cleanliness and helpful staff; the quieter setting also earns approval. We'd choose it for several nights with children, especially when cooking and laundry will actually get used. The compromises are apartment-style housekeeping, no breakfast service and a location that favors the nearby subway over immediate JR access.
