Holland House is an independent, upscale beach hotel between Front Street’s shops and Great Bay’s boardwalk. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want beach time without giving up town convenience. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, welcoming staff and Ocean Lounge’s food; Tripadvisor feedback reinforces the service strengths. We’d choose a beach-view balcony room to make the most of the setting.

The trade-off is limited resort infrastructure: there’s no pool or full spa, and the beachfront gets lively when cruise passengers arrive.
