Harrah’s is a sprawling 4-star casino resort in the Marina District, better suited to a self-contained gambling weekend than a beach trip. It’s a good pick with reservations: the indoor pool, restaurants and nightlife give you reasons to stay on-site, and recent Expedia guests frequently praise clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. We’d favor the Waterfront Tower, which gets stronger recent feedback than some older room categories.

Consistency is the weakness. Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests repeatedly describe missed housekeeping, worn rooms and smoke odors, although plenty report trouble-free stays. The location also means arranging transport to the beach and Boardwalk rather than stepping outside onto them.
