Al Ahyaa makes most sense for a kite-focused week or a self-contained apartment stay. The coast road toward El Gouna mixes resort gates, residential compounds and scattered supermarkets and cafés. Local kite schools use shallow, flat-water lagoons; check the exact shoreline and tidal depth if swimming matters more than wind sports.

The northern tourist walkway has improved strolling on parts of the coast, but it does not remove the transfers needed for town.
