Its Bambalapitiya location, close to shops, restaurants and transport, is a useful base, while the rooftop pool and bar give it an edge over simpler city hotels. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests often praise the friendly staff, and breakfast earns positive mentions for variety. We'd consider it for a short stay if location matters more than finish.

The sticking point is consistency.
