Ramon’s is a rustic 4-star beachfront resort whose palm-thatched cabanas and tropical gardens offer more character than a conventional hotel. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want diving on the doorstep without being isolated from San Pedro’s restaurants. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and well-kept grounds; the on-site dive operation is another consistent highlight.

The beach is better for lounging than walking straight into the sea: recent guests describe swimming from the pier, with sargassum affecting the shoreline.
