Bab Al Bahrain & Financial Harbour is the best base without a car, especially on the souq side near Manama Terminal’s onward buses. Adliya comes second for walking between restaurants in Block 338. Neither removes the need for transport: plan buses or taxis for sightseeing across districts, and check live airport departures.
