Waikiki Heritage is an aging, no-frills 2-star whose strongest selling point is its walkable Beach Walk location, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The outdoor pool and selected kitchenette rooms add practical appeal. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests often praise friendly staff and comfortable beds, but we'd treat this as a budget base rather than a hotel to spend much time in.

The compromises go beyond dated decor. Recent Expedia reviews repeatedly flag uneven cleaning, while Tripadvisor guests report cockroaches in separate 2026 stays. Other recurring complaints include outside noise and noisy or struggling air-conditioning.
