Hôtel Tiba is a simple, independent 3-star just off Avenue Habib Bourguiba, within easy walking distance of the medina. We'd pick it for a practical city break: recent Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the location, helpful reception staff and cleanliness. Breakfast is included and generally well received, making this a good-value base rather than a hotel to linger in.
The compromises are compact rooms, some bathroom maintenance niggles and Wi-Fi that several recent guests found weak.
