Sheraton Guayaquil is a five-star business hotel that makes most sense for airport stopovers and work trips. We'd pick it for the consistently praised staff, clean, comfortable rooms and convenient location opposite Mall del Sol. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise breakfast, while recent Tripadvisor reviews reinforce the warm-service reputation. The complimentary airport shuttle, outdoor pool and gym give it useful substance beyond the brand name.

The main caveat is the phased room renovation. A June 2026 Tripadvisor guest reported unavailable upper-floor accommodation and disrupted Club arrangements; hotel posts later advertised a refreshed Sheraton Club in August. That is encouraging, but not proof that every room is finished. Confirm your room category and any remaining work before booking.
