A strong waterfront choice for comfortable rooms, helpful staff and harbour views. a waterfront 4-star with renovated rooms and its own marina, scored for what it is.

This waterfront 4-star near Fisherman’s Wharf is a strong pick for a relaxed Victoria stay without giving up access to downtown. Coast completed its room renovation in 2024, and Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. We’d choose an ocean-view room: watching the harbour is a big part of the appeal. The indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub and free local shuttle add useful substance beyond the setting.

The trade-off is being roughly a 15-minute walk from the downtown core rather than right in it. Some recent guests on Tripadvisor and Expedia-affiliated sites report sound carrying between rooms, although quiet, restful stays also feature prominently. Parking costs extra, and a balcony can mean a small Juliet balcony rather than somewhere to sit. We’d skip it if absolute quiet or an immediately central location matters most.
