Sunrise is a colonial-style five-star across the road from Nha Trang’s beach, and we’d pick it for character, sea views and attentive service rather than cutting-edge luxury. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the staff, clean rooms and varied breakfast. Spacious accommodation and the distinctive outdoor pool make it a strong choice for a relaxed city-and-beach stay; a sea-view balcony room is worth prioritizing.

The catch is age: recurring reports of tired furnishings and bathroom maintenance fall short of polished five-star expectations. You must cross busy Tran Phu Boulevard to reach the sand, and recent guests report that hotel beach loungers are no longer provided.
