Axel monitors your flight and hotel bookings for price drops. When we find a lower price, we automatically rebook your trip at the new rate and secure the savings for you — without changing your travel plans.
Do repricing opportunities happen often?
Flight repricing policies are not widely publicized by airlines. That being said, they are frequently available, especially on major US carriers. Flight prices are extremely variable and change unpredictably before departure. We connect with the airlines directly in order to claim your savings. Hotel repricings are available because hotels offer different prices for the same room depending on the channel you use to book. We search hundreds of public (and private) suppliers for the best price, and come back to you with lower rates. The accommodation and room are both the same, you simply approve the savings.
What happens if I don't save money with Axel?
We do everything in our power to deliver you savings. In the rare case that we don't, we guarantee your money back. If we don't save you more than $35 in one year, we will refund you, no questions asked.
Does repricing change my booking?
For flights, Axel never modifies your reservation. Axel will contact the airline directly using your booking information to request a price adjustment or refund. The airline applies the credit without changing your itinerary or reservation number. For hotels, Axel finds the exact same stay with the same room type and dates at a lower rate, but with a different supplier. You are then able to confirm the details of the stay when you approve the savings, and Axel will handle transferring your booking to the new supplier.
